


Advertising and Communication Management is a sector of the industry which is thriving in Pakistan. With the number and level of career opportunities available in the field of advertising, there is a clear need to produce specialists in this field.
There is a need to equip students with the knowledge of the importance of the role of advertising in the economy, and its place in the media of Mass Communications. This degree emphasizes on the preparation and execution of a media strategy. The student would gain an in-depth understanding and study of advertising appeals, product and market research, selection of media, testing of advertising effectiveness and organization of the advertising profession, and would develop skills in scientific media planning and management.
This program would be beneficial for those students who want to make a career in Advertising. It is aimed at improving and developing the general and technical knowledge of persons engaged in or about to be engaged in the profession of Marketing. It provides a scientific approach towards the management of Marketing Communication.
A joint venture of MAP & IoBM, this two year program is offered on weekends. 24 courses with 75 credit hours will be required to complete the program. In the last semester elective courses will be offered towards the area of concentration.
