on the society in the
future as it has done in the past. IoBM is following a path of
continuing to excel and enhance the quality of services to our
students. Education is not merely earning and cashing on
degrees. It is that sense of belonging to an institution where
one benefits through sincere guidance, quality teaching,
requisite facilities, meticulous instruction and caring
counseling. IoBM has come of age as it commemorates ten years of
its existence in September 2005. Within a decade of its
establishment, it has earned A category degree-granting status
by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, has over 2300
students on its rolls and its graduates are holding senior
positions in the corporate field. Thus IoBM has attained
world-class academic and professional credibility, due to its
promising students, worthy and dedicated faculty, meticulous
management, concerned parents, sincere friends and well-wishers.
As you peruse IoBM’s
tailor-made academic programs, you will discover fresh avenues
of purposeful education. Here, career-focused teaching,
especially in Business Management, Information Technology,
Engineering Management and Health Management lead the way to
professional excellence through made-to-measure course outlines
and state-of-the-art facilities and time, crisis, conflict and
communication skills management. In the offing are such
potential programs as MBA in Media Management and Population
Welfare.
To broaden students’
career horizons are personality development activities through
eight well-guided student societies. Our students continue to
earn laurels in debates and declamations, IT exhibitions and
conferences, course-focused and practical event management
programs and public relations activities. They also excel as
interns in national and multinational organizations, which
provides them a better placement in the corporate sector after
graduation. It is your seriousness of purpose and sheer hard
work, blended with discipline and moral values that will bring
you cherished rewards. There will also be a contribution from
caring parents’ prayers and guidance. As such, you should obey
your parents and respect your teachers and elders. I wish you
every success in your academic pursuits and hope your stay at
the IoBM will be inspiring and intellectually rewarding.
