BBA (HONORS) (FOUR YEAR) PROGRAM

The Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors) is a four-year program. It requires completion of 144 semester hours of course work and a summer internship in a firm approved by the College. A student studies 48 courses of 3 credit hours each in order to complete the degree requirements. Six credit hours are structured into the program for a foreign language course. Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA for the conferment of the BBA (Honors) degree.

 

Students are provided with general business courses as part of their studies and are required to select one of the eight fields of
specialization which would be called their major. The eight fields of specialization offered are:

Students must take a minimum load of twelve credit hours (four courses) or a maximum load of eighteen credit hours (six courses) in a semester. In order to obtain the BBA (Honors) degree in four years, one would have to cover twelve courses in a year. Full load of six courses can be taken each in the fall and spring semesters with option for fewer courses in the latter and making up the shortfall in the summer session.
