Masters of Computer Science (MCS) (Two Year) Program

This is a four-semester program, which has been designed for the graduate students who have passed a bachelors degree in any discipline (BA, B. Com., B.Sc. or BCS) from any recognized college/ university. They have to complete 24 courses of 76 credit hours. Students who have not studied mathematics or computer science courses are required to study Zero-Semester courses. These are non-credit courses. The requirement for conferment of the degree is to maintain CGPA 3.0 or above on a scale of 4.0. Students have been given a choice of specialization in five areas: Networking, Artificial Intelligence, Database Management Systems, Software Development and Web Technology. They have to select four elective courses from one group.

 

Students who are weak in English and Communication Skills are required to take an additional "Business English"* course to enhance knowledge of the language.
