Entrepreneurship and Management Excellence Center (EMEC) of Institute of Business Management (IoBM) hosted 48th Session of Pakistan Human Capital Forum (PHCF) Mehran Chapter. The session was focused on Engaging different generations at the workplace and how HR in Pakistan can contribute in this area alongside academia. The event was attended by HR professionals from across the industry. Adeel Anwar, President PHCF Forum introduced PHCF and its activities to the audience. The presentation was given by Mr Shah M. Saad Hussain, CHRO and corporate head planning at Hascol Petroleum Limited on “Repatriation of Talent in Pakistan”. Mr Anas Ahmed, Director of HR and Corporate Communications at Venture Dive gave a presentation on “Retaining the Workforce of Future [Millennials]. In the second half, there was a panel discussion and questions were taken from the audience. Panellist included Ms Nausheen Ahmed, General Counsel ICI. Mr Talib Karim, Guest of Honour of the event thanked participants and appreciated the work on Industry-Academia Linkage by PHCF. He invited PHCF to join hands with IoBM to extend its offering towards research, innovation, capstone projects, placements and training for the corporates. The session was moderated by Mr Naushad Javaid, Mehran Chapter Lead PHCF. Mr. Asad Rezzvi, CEO Veritas Ventures, discussed about his experience of industry Academia Linkages. The session was concluded with the Q&A Session and visit by the audience of the new Entrepreneurship and Executive Education Facilities of IoBM
