  • 3 A-Level subjects with at least 2C grades.
  • O-Level: 8 subjects with at least a ‘C grade’ in 5 subjects. Urdu, Pakistan Studies, Mathematics, English, and Islamiyat are compulsory subjects.
  • For BS Computer Science, BS Data Science, and BS Software Engineering, IBCC Equivalence (Discipline: Science) is compulsory.
  • For other programs, IBCC Equivalence may be required on a case-to-case basis.

Minimum C grade both in SSC and HSC with 55%.

    1. The applicant can apply for the exemption on the basis of given SAT score and condition:
      1. A score of 550 (out of 800) in Mathematics is required.
      2. A score of 550 (out of 800) in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing is required.
      3. A total score of 1,100 is required.
      4. The validity of SAT score is one year only

 The test consists of six sections in all as listed below:
• Three sections of English Language
• One section of Mathematics
• One section of Word/Letter series
• One section of General Knowledge

IoBM will not conduct the entry test for MS/MPhil and PhD programs, applicants will be required to submit the following:
• Minimum 50% test score in NTS General for MS/MPhil
• Minimum 60% test score in NTS Subject for PhD

70 Minutes.

There are 115 questions, all MCQS and there is no negative marking.

2.5 CGPA is required along with the IBCC Equivalence.

The duration of the MBA is two years with a minimum CGPA 3.00.

They cannot apply for any MBA programs. However, they can apply for B.ED 2.5 years program.

    1. The GAT General test is required for the admission in MS/MPhil programs while the GAT Subject test is required for the admission in PhD programs.
  • All requests must be for the same level of program. Courses completed in Bachelor’s program cannot be considered for Master’s program.
  • The credit hours will not be considered from program which has been completed and the student has been graduated.
  • Transfer applications can be submitted once and at least two weeks before commencement of the first semester, late applications for transfer of credits will not be considered nor any second application will be accepted.
  • Student will be required to submit the application along with course outlines and an official transcript.
  • Student must have secured B or better grade as per the IoBM grading plan in each course meant to be transferred and the course title /outline must match with IoBM course plan. However, the decision of the subject specialist or Credit Equivalence Committee will be final.
  • The Committee has the right to reject any course or an application.
  • Maximum of 3 courses can be transferred in PhD programs.
  • Maximum of 4 courses can be transferred in MPhil/MS programs.
  • Maximum courses of two semesters can be transferred in Bachelor’s / MBA Programs from highly reputed and HEC recognized institutes of Pakistan and abroad. However, each case will be reviewed separately and the decision will be taken considering the grades and the reasons for the transfer.
