As a Manager, he/she will accelerate exploring the emerging technologies and tap into the innovation ecosystem to build SSKIC’s next wave of market leading and impactful young technology inventors and entrepreneurs. The incumbent will guide the startup teams both in an advisory and execution capacity by focusing on sensing, scouting, and qualification of their next big ideas; engaging with our ecosystem partners and member firm’s innovation hubs on collaboration and knowledge sharing opportunities; and helping with the continuous improvement and operations of the program.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have experience with an overall 15+ years in professional environment with an MBA degree from a recognized university preferably having at least 3 years working in the incubator, venture capital, or start-up ecosystem.
  • Be passionate about exploring emerging technologies and trends, and distilling learnings into potential high impact business ideas that are ready form incubation.
  • Be well versed in the practical application of Design Thinking, Human Centered Design, and Lean start-up methods.
  • Be able to effectively design and facilitate co-creation workshops, plus communicate insights, concepts and design rationales to internal and external audiences.
  • Have experience in managing and executing paid product development and MVPs (i.e. ideate, define, prototype, test & refine etc.), market research (i.e. competitive analysis, industry trends, consumer sentiment, etc.) and business casing (i.e. addressable market, serviceable market, potential revenue streams, cost structure etc.)
  • Be comfortable with meeting high expectations with a minimal amount of direction and supervision, plus able to think and pivot on the fly when problems arise, finding swift and effective solutions.
