Dr. Kashif Nisar is serving as a Full Professor and Associate Dean at College of Computer Science and Information Systems, Institute of Business Management (IoBM) University, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Dr. Nisar has more than 15 years of tertiary-level teaching experience in Pakistan, Malaysia, and New Zealand. Dr. Nisar completed his PhD as a candidate with full funding at the Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia, with a major in Computer Networks and Information Technology. Dr. Nisar has done a Post-Doctoral at Auckland University of Technology, Auckland, New Zealand. In 2014, he served as a Guest Professor at Fernuniversität Hagen, Germany, fully funded by DAAD. He holds several visiting professor positions at well-known universities such as McMaster University, Hamilton, ON, Canada, University of Auckland, New Zealand, Panevezys University of Applied Sciences, Lithuania, Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan and Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea. 
Dr. Nisar has published over 200+ research papers in many high-impact journals and well-reputed international conference proceedings in Computer Science and Cybersecurity. His research interests include Future Internet (FI), Currently, he is working on machine and deep learning for IoT security, 5G, 6G, and API security, and he is also working closely with Industry. Dr. Nisar is a member of many professional organizations from academia and industry, including Senior Member of IEEE-USA (IEEE Vice-Chair, Subsection), ACM-USA, ACM-SIGMOBILE-USA, ISOC-USA, Engineers Australia, IAENG, Park Lab, etc. and a fellow of APAN and ITU. He is serving as an editorial board member for various high-impact factor journals, including ACM Transactions on Multimedia Computing, Communications, and Applications, Computer Communications Elsevier, Kybernetes an International Journal Emerald UK, and International Journal of Wireless Personal communication Springer. Additionally, he is a reviewer for most of the IEEE transactions, IEEE Access, IEEE Internet Initiative, Internet Technology Letters, Wiley, Springer, and Elsevier Journals. Furthermore, he is serving as a Steering Committee Member, PC Chair, Track Chair, and Technical Program Committee (TPC) member of over 100+ international conferences as IEEE GLOBECOM, IEEE R10 TENCOM, IEEE TrustCom, IEEE ICC, IEEE VTC, IEEE VNC, IEEE ICCVE, ICCCN, and so on. He delivered keynote talks at international conferences and universities. Also, he is serving as a guest editor for more than a dozen special issues in journals and magazines such as IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, and Wiley.
