Dr. Muhammad Junaid is currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Head of Department, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Besides he is Managing Editor of Pakistan Business Review (PBR) an HEC “Y” Category recognized Journal and Editor of the International Journal of Experiential Learning & Case Studies (IJELCS). 

Dr. Junaid holds a Ph.D. degree in Management Science and Engineering specializing in Supply Chain Management from Taiyuan University of Technology (TYUT). His teaching, research, and administrative experience spans over 10 years including Bahauddin Zakariya University, and Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU), Karachi. He has also served MAJU as Head of the Department, Operations and Information Systems Management, and Director Ph.D. Management Science Program. 

He has several publications in the prestigious scientific journals indexed/ranked in Social Science Citation Index (SSCI), Science Citation Index (SCI), Scopus, and Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC). His paper was awarded “Excellent Research Paper” at International Conference on Management, Economics and Social Sciences (ICMESS-2018) held in Osaka, Japan.

His research interests include Supply Chain Risk Management, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Design, Supply Chain Mapping, Circular Economy, Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, Sustainable Supply Chain Management, and Supply Chain Net zero.
