Ms. Kishwer Nazli , a Ph.d Scholar in Applied Linguistics, a passionate linguist, completed her MSc in Geography from university of Karachi, M.A in English Literature and Linguistics from University of Karachi and MS in Applied Linguistics from NEDUET University. Currently, she is working with IOBM as a Senior Lecturer in Communication and Languages department. Also, she has an extensive work history of more than 14 years with reputed universities as FAST, ZIAUDDIN, KIET and NED as Lecturer. She began her professional journey from Bahria College Karachi NORE 1 and served there for 10 years. She has adjudicated numerous Bilingual Declamation Contest in many reputed institutions. Her research Interest Areas are Critical Discourse Analysis and Pragmatics. Recently she has conducted an International Webinar on “Politeness in Pragmatics”. She is a teacher trainer, Career Counselor and Social Activist. She teaches online Business Communication, Functional English to Non Englishers like German, Japanese and Arabian Students. Also teaching online M.A English Literature for private sector university students for 10 years. Recently she conducted a Teacher Training Workshop from the platform of SPELT. She has published one paper at ICLAP “Gendered language in Media” and working presently on a paper “Language and Gender at workplace”. Her interest areas are Critical Discourse Analysis and Second Language Teaching. Her research paper “A Comparative Analysis of Monolingual and Bilingual teaching” has been published in IJRS. Moreover, she trains teachers from the platforms of SPELT and other institutions and hosted many conferences and sessions. She has published a paper as the first author “The Role of Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) in Language Teachers’ Professional Development in January,2023, and another paper “Exploring the factors Influencing Gender Disparity in STEM Education” on 4 th November, 2023 She hosts a Radio Show “ Zuban e Ishq” on Apna Radio Newyork ,and also creates content for her own channel “ Linguistic Milange”.
