Water has been the main reason of many crises like of Textile Industry, power, irrigation sector and others. On the rising issue with the water, crises and war of water with India gave the Society an idea to conduct a Panel Discussion on Water Wars in which Deputy Mayor of Karachi, Dr. Arshad Vohra, Dean CESD, Dr. Shahida Wizarat and renowned Environmentalist and HoD Dr. Shahid Amjad was invited. Deputy Mayor enlightened the Water Crises and its reason in Karachi and urban areas and shared knowledge over Pak-India Water Wars. Whereas Dr. Wizarat highlighted the issues related to Water Crises and how every common citizen is suffering from it. Dr. Shahid Amjad spread knowledge over environmental crises and need of plantation and water reservoirs (Dams) to control the upcoming Water dough due to global warming.
The Economics Department of IoBM under the guidance of Dean, HoD and Faculty Members organized International Conference on The State of Pakistan’s Economy. Various economist, professionals, ambassadors and international guests attended the conference. The Society facilitated the event by holding different activities of promotion, event management and photography.
