As many as 35 representatives of foreign universities visited the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) on Monday, February 04, 2019. In this regard a meeting with students, faculty and management was held at the Entrepreneurship and Management Excellence Center (EMEC), IoBM. Prof. Dr. Khalid Amin, HoD, International Cooperation, Placement and Alumni, IoBM played an instrumental role in organizing this visit. Accompanying these foreign delegates was Mr. Khurram Bhatti from the Dawn Media Group.
Present on this occasion were Dr. Ejaz Ahmed, Rector IoBM and Dean CCSIS, Dr. Shahida Wizarat, Dean CESD, IoBM, Prof. Dr. Amanat Ali Jalbani, Senior Advisor to the President IoBM, along with HoDs, faculty, management and students. Later, the occasion was also joined by the kind and inspiring presence of Dr. Syed Irfan Hyder, Dean CBM and CES.
The purpose of this visit was for students to explore a diverse range of degree options facilitating them in pursuing their “dream career”. Students interacted with foreign guests to inquire about degree programs offered at their respective universities and what prospects are there for Pakistani students.
Representatives of foreign colleges and universities visiting IoBM included University representatives were from Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan, Queen Mary University, Britain, George Town University, Qatar, University of University of Huddersfield, Britain, University of Birmingham, Britain, University of Norwich, England, Macquarie University, Australia, Girne American University, Cyprus, Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Cyprus, University of Leeds, Britain, Middlesex University, Britain, University of Debrecen, Hungary and University of Northampton, Britain.
