The IEEE Volt (Volunteer Leadership Training) and S-PAA (Student Professional Awareness Activity) organized a one-day Seminar and Training session at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) recently under the banner of IEEE Karachi section (IEEE-Khi). Hosted by IEEE IoBM Student Branch in collaboration with IEEE Karachi, this event was attended by IEEE Student Branches from other universities namely FAST-NUCES, Dawood University of Engineering and Technology, Institute of Industrial Electronics Engineering, B.U.I.T.E.M.S, PAF-KIET, U.I.T, PNEC-NUST, ZU-FEST, S.S.U.E.T, Jinnah University for Women, University of Karachi and Indus University.
Gracing this event as Guest of Honor was Dr. M. Shahid Sheikh, Chair, IEEE Karachi Section while the Chief Guest was Dr. Ejaz Ahmed, Rector, IoBM. Other guest speakers included Dr. Tariq R. Soomro (CCSIS Faculty, IoBM), Engr. Hanan Daudpota, Engr. Hassan Idrees, Engr. Parkash Lohana, Mr. Sheikh M. Anas and Dr. M. Shahad Siddique. The event concluded with the distribution of shields and certificates among guests and participants.
