The Alumni Association is enabling alumni to create new memories with friends and family. The IoBM Alumni Association, hosted its fourth cycling ride of the season on Sunday, March 1, 2020. The IoBM Cycling Club strives to create an inclusive, engaged community of cyclists, from recreational riders through elite racers, in all disciplines with the IoBM fraternity. This Club aims to promote health, fitness, and networking amongst the alumni.
Over 75+ enthusiastic cyclists with friends and family members completed a well-planned course of approx. 12.5 km within Korangi Creek. Backend support of security, first-aid kit, professional cyclists helped cyclists in completing the ride smoothly. The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate the 100th ride for the Free Riders professional group who are professionally guiding the riders since the inception of IoBM Cycling Club. The scrumptious breakfast for the event was hosted by Tufail Chemical Industries at their Head Office at the Korangi Industrial Park.
The IoBM Cycling Club with a heavy heart announces this ride to be the last one for the season and would resume from Fall 2020. The enthusiastic response from our alumni and current students have been a great contribution to the success of the IoBM Cycling Club.
