ORIC Department, IoBM invited Dr. Riaz Uddin was recently invited as a guest speaker at IoBM. Dr. Riaz Uddin, Director of ORIC, NED University of Engineering and Technology, addressed the researchers and faculty members at IoBM. Dr. Ather, Director of ORIC, IoBM, welcomed the guest and shared about ORIC's activities in his opening remarks.
During his speech, Dr. Riaz highlighted the importance of maintaining data quality in universities and establishing ORIC and QEC departments. He emphasized the need for faculty members to maintain a balance between teaching and research projects, the connection between ORIC ranking and university ranking, and the significance of acquiring licenses and patents for industry recognition. Dr. Riaz encouraged collaborations between universities and industries, signing MoUs for research, innovation, and commercialization. Dr. Ather presented a token of
appreciation to the esteemed guest.
