IoBM students' industrial visit to DP World

The Department of Logistics & Supply Chain Management organized an Educational Field Trip to DP World for the class Essentials of Supply Chain Management on 30th March 2022. This industrial visit was organized by Faculty Member Sajid Nazir - CISCOM, CSCA, MCIPS, and SCM Assistant Officer Mr. Basit Chawla, with prior permission from Hon. HoD SCM, Dr. Muhammad Junaid, with guidance from Hon. Dean CBM Professor Dr. Shujaat Mubarik. The purpose of this industrial visit was to help students provide a better understanding of the information concerned with the industrial functions. It provided students a better opportunity to plan, organize, control, lead, and involve internal and external environments outside the classrooms.

DP World Karachi is a world-class port facility with the latest technologies and is well-connected with the Hinterland through road and railway.
