IoBM’s CTO & Director CIT Dr. Imran Batada papers titled “Impact of Skill Development Program for producing Women Entrepreneurs in Pakistan” has been accepted by the Journal of Education and Educational Development (HEC Recognized Journal).

The study has shown that training programs initiated by the Pakistan government such as BBSHRRDB (Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Human Resource Research and Development Board) and NAVTTC (National Vocational and Technical Training Commission) have significantly ignited the interest of young women in getting involved in entrepreneurship activities.

The results of this study confirm that training programs play a key role in the advancement of women entrepreneurs through support from the government, donor agencies, banks, and chambers of commerce.

The recent study by Dr. Imran Batada underscores the pivotal role of skill development programs in advancing women entrepreneurship in Pakistan, significantly contributing to SDG 5: Gender Equality and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
