The Institute of Business Management (IoBM) and the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) organized a session of “Higher Education Opportunities in the USA” at IoBM. This program was held on Wednesday, October 02, 2019 at room number 314, Academic Building. Representatives of six universities from the USA were invited to engage with IoBM students. Following the session, these representatives met with Mr. Talib S. Karim, President IoBM and Dr. Syed Irfan Hyder, Rector IoBM at the President’s office.
Students engaged in a discussion with the university representatives to seek academic guidance. They were provided with necessary information about the admissions and application process, scholarships and financial assistance. From IoBM, this event was coordinated by Internship, Placement and International Cooperation and Academics department.
The US universities which participated in this session were the University of Texas at Arlington, Oklahoma City University, St. Louis University, Michigan State University, Marshall University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Students took great interest in this event. They learned key insights about the process of applying at these universities and how to pursue higher education in the US.
