The Italian Consulate in Karachi signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) on Monday, August 19, 2019 at the President’s Board Room in IoBM. This agreement was signed by Ms. Anna Ruffino, Consul General of Italy and by Mr. Talib S. Karim, President, IoBM. Muhammad Haroon, Cultural Coordinator at the Italian Consulate accompanied the Consul General.
Under this MoU the Italian Consulate in Karachi will continue to provide IoBM funding and facilitation for teaching Italian language and cultural exchange visits to Italy for IoBM students, faculty and management. The Italian Consulate has been providing IoBM with this funding for two years. Mr. Talib Karim said that IoBM students and faculty must travel to Italy under the cultural exchange program. Ms. Anna Ruffino suggested that the Italian Consulate can meet IoBM students enrolled in Italian language course in early September. She said this meeting will update IoBM students about the benefits of learning Italian language along with study and job prospects in Italy.

Maria Paola and Luciana Caramia faculty of the Italian language at IoBM also attended this ceremony.
