The Institute of Business Management (IoBM) recently held its first ever TEDx event at the IoBM Auditorium recently. TEDx events are independently organized programs inviting speakers to share their ideas, insights, and initiatives pertaining to their profession in the form of short talks. After the conclusion of all talks, Mr. Talib Karim presented mementos to guest speakers of TEDxIoBM.
Invited as speakers were Dr. Syed Irfan Hyder, Dean CBM and CES, IoBM; Ghalib and Roshanay, founders of “Azaad Pakistan” who have a limitless passion for serving humanity; Amna Raheel, an IoBM alumnus, a wheel-chair bound go-getter who is proving to the world that the only limitations we have are in our minds; Akbar Chaudhary, a stand-up comedian who helped revive the culture of stand-up comedy in Pakistan; Sabina Khatri, Founder and Chairperson, Kiran Foundation, the only Trauma Sensitive School; Komail Abbas Naqvi, co-founder, “Find My Adventure”, the first online marketplace of Pakistan for travel enthusiasts; Syed Mohsyn, founder, “Share Your Blessings”, a social welfare initiative aiming to alleviate poverty and empower the youth; Shoaib Iqbal, an IoBM alumnus and CEO, “Sukoon”, an online platform providing a one-stop solution for home and office repair and maintenance services; Ramish Safa, an IoBM alumnus, who is a visual storyteller and a creator of online comics depicting the culture of Pakistan.
