A revealing presentation on Cyber Security
Mr. Nasir Saleem Siddique, an accomplished Information Systems and Security professional, residing in Australia, was invited to IoBM for a presentation to Computer Science students on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. This event, which was organized at the Entrepreneurship and Management Excellence Center, IoBM, was largely-attended by students and faculty.
His presentation: “Cyber Security: Its Skill Gaps and Our Shared Responsibilities” created awareness among students regarding Cyber Security and its associated business threats, business risk management, awareness training for businesses, managing business under unforeseen cyber incidents and compliance, audit for investment for customer data regulations.
Besides the inspiring presence of Dr. Ejaz Ahmed, Dean CCSIS, the distinguished faculty present included Dr. Aqil Burney, Dr. Tajuddin Islamuddin, Dr. Syed Iftikhar Ali, Dr. Muhammad Irshad Khan, Dr. Tariq Soomro, Mr. Khalid Bin Muhammad, Mr. Muhammad Asghar Khan and Ms. Najmus Saher.
Mr. Nasir Saleem Siddique has been delivering and managing innovative solutions for business productivity using technology to help organizations supporting strategic goals and financial objectives. The esteemed guest has shown proven abilities to plan and manage teams for integration, operation and optimizations. He is a Certified Auditor and manager from ISACA – CISA and CISM.
