The Institute of Business Management (IoBM) continues to affirm its commitment to academic outreach and capacity building through a meaningful collaboration with the Sindh Police. Initiated by the College of Business Management (CBM) and the Centre for Research and Training (CCRT), this initiative saw IoBM experts serve as lead facilitators in a one-day “Training of Trainers (ToT) on Invigilation” held on August 12, 2025. Organized by the office of the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP), Training Directorate, the program aimed to enhance invigilation practices and strengthen examination security across six districts. Drawing on IoBM’s academic expertise, the program successfully trained over 50 police personnel, equipping them with improved skills and knowledge to maintain high standards of invigilation.
The IoBM delegation was led by Dr. Sarah Wali Qazi, Acting Associate Dean Graduate and Postgraduate, Head of Department and Associate Professor at CBM, who served as the Lead Trainer. By bringing together academia and law enforcement, this initiative demonstrates how cross-sector alliances can drive sustainable development and systemic improvement.
