The UNESCO Entrepreneurship Education Network (EE-Net) Pakistan Chapter, appointed by the Institute of Business Management, in collaboration with a National Curriculum Council expert, held the third webinar in its international webinar series titled: “Sustainable Entrepreneurship Education to Empower Future Changemakers’’ on May 31, 2025. The event was co-moderated by Mr. Raza Abbas – Head of UNESCO Entrepreneurship Education Network- Pakistan Chapter and Ms. Saima Abbas, an expert at the National Curriculum Council (NCC).
The webinar attracted national and international participation from educators, curriculum developers, mental health professionals, and policy experts. All attendees were united by a shared commitment to embedding sustainability and entrepreneurial thinking into the school curriculum, equipping students to become proactive problem-solvers and innovators in a rapidly changing world.

Ms. Sunita Basnyat, Sustainability Head, British College, Nepal: Sunita emphasized the power of experiential learning, highlighting that field tours and real-life exposure can serve as effective and low-cost tools to teach entrepreneurial skills. She underscored the role of curriculum as a strategic tool for productivity and creativity.

Dr. Dessy introduced the Responsible Ecosystem (RE) Framework—a forward-looking model designed to foster collaboration across Academia, Business, Government, and Society (ABGS). Grounded in shared responsibility, empathy, innovation, and accountability, RE enables systemic change by integrating entrepreneurship education, social innovation, and local wisdom with a global perspective.
