The College of Business Management (CBM), in collaboration with the Career Development Center (CDC), organized a guest speaker session on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, as part of the Leadership Journey course. The session featured Ms. Maria Ahsan, General Manager Marketing at Candyland, Ismail Industries Ltd., and an IoBM alumna. Ms. Maria shared insightful perspectives on leadership, strategic thinking, and the evolving landscape of marketing in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. Drawing from her extensive professional experience, she discussed how to overcome challenges, lead teams effectively, and drive innovation in competitive markets. The interactive session encouraged students to connect academic learning with practical leadership experiences, reinforcing CBM’s commitment to experiential learning and developing future leaders through direct engagement with accomplished industry professionals.
