IoBM and TCN Sign MoU as Exclusive Academic Strategic Partner for Generative AI Conference



The Institute of Business Management (IoBM) has entered into a strategic partnership with TCN through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), officially designating IoBM as the Exclusive Academic Strategic Partner for the upcoming Generative AI Conference.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Imran Batada, Chief Digital Officer and Director of CIT at IoBM, and Mr. Sheharyar Ahmed, CEO of TCN. The event was held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. 

This collaboration marks a significant step forward in fostering research, innovation, and academic engagement in the field of Generative Artificial Intelligence. The partnership is aimed at creating a strong platform where experts, professionals, and academia can exchange ideas, share knowledge, and address emerging challenges in the rapidly evolving landscape of AI—benefiting both students and industry stakeholders alike.

The initiative further aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It strengthens SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) by driving innovation in AI, promotes SDG 4 (Quality Education) by empowering future-ready human capital with knowledge of emerging technologies, and supports SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by enabling cross-sectoral collaboration between academia and industry.

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Dr. Mohammad Abbas, Dean of CCSIS at IoBM; Lt Colonel Haider, Corporate Consultant at Master Oil Lubricant; Ms. Huda Sultan, Marketing Head at Master Oil Lubricant; Mr. Muhammad Hussain, CEO of Boundless Technologies; Mr. Muhammad Omer, CEO of Bits Collision; Mr. Majid Hassan, Vice President of InterSys Ltd.; and Mrs. Maryam Kousar, Corporate Consultant at TCN.
