Institute of Business Management’s Student Societies, Social Welfare and Trust (SWAT) and the Strategic Human Resource Society (SHRS), in collaboration with Indus Hospital, Fatimid Foundation and Kashif Foundation, conducted the Blood Drive 2017 on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at IoBM’s Academic Block and in the Students’ Activity Center.
Present on this occasion was Mr. Riaz Akbar Contractor, Proctor and Manager, Sports and Student Affairs along with office bearers of SWAT and SHRS. IoBM students, faculty and management joined this noble cause and were informed of the importance and benefits of blood donation.
The objective of this blood drive was to collect blood for those patients suffering from a range of chronic and life threatening illnesses including Thalassemia. It is a sight to cherish when IoBM Student Societies, SWAT and SHRS, coordinating with the IoBM management and in collaboration with hospitals and blood banks, conduct blood donation drives and create awareness towards the significance of blood donation.
