The Department of Health and Hospital Management at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) celebrated World Health Day on Saturday, April 7, 2018. The event was held under the World Health Organization (WHO) campaign of organizing their 70th annual World Health Day and dedicating it to the fight for universal healthcare for all. Main aim was to enhance the ProHealth image of IoBM in developing a positive attitude towards health care. Mr. Talib S. Karim, President, IoBM graced the occasion with his inspiring presence.
The program commenced with the Health Management Convention which illustrated various experiential learning models and projects related to hospitals, pharmaceuticals, public health and allied themes. The students also shared health tips and advocacy to the audience. This was followed by a ProHealth Walk within the campus organized by CBM Society of Health Managers where smart health slogans and messages were promoted. The program was hosted by Dr. Asima Faisal, HoD, MHM and included different students, faculty, staff of IoBM and external guests from the industry and academia.
