Hult Prize at IoBM held an event at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) on Monday, November 19, 2018 on the theme “Youth Unemployment: Leading a Generation to change the world”. Present on this occasion was Dr. Syed Irfan Hyder, Dean CBM and CES, IoBM. Hult Prize at IoBM is being led by Campus Director, Ms. Nehal Jumani and supervised by Ms. Misbah Iqbal, Assistant Professor Accounting and Finance and Coordinator, BS-Social Entrepreneurship and Social Leadership.
Hult Prize is a start-up accelerator for impact entrepreneurship which brings together the brightest students to solve the world’s pressing issues through pitching ideas and launching companies. It is the most prestigious start up event in the world, including a prize money of USD $1 Million. Among the participating students were Nehal Faisal, Ali Shah and Syeda Isra Ali.
List of invitees included Ms. Gia Farooqi, Co-Founder and CEO, Roshni Rides, Guest of Honor, Mr. Faraz Khan, Co-Founder and CEO, Seed Ventures, Keynote Speaker and Mr. Faraz Ahmed, a marketer and trainer, Motivational Speaker. Invited to judge the students’ start-up project pitches were Ms. Anum Kamran, Founder and CEO, BUYON.PK, Mr. Omer Salimullah, Head of open Banking and Ecosystem Development, JS Bank, Ms. Anaz Niaz, CEO, VISCOUS.CO and Ms. Nadia Patel, Founder and CEO, Sheops.
