The Institute of Business Management (IoBM) was graced by the presence of Kate Sweetman, who visited the IoBM on February 23, 2016. Sweetman is a leadership consultant and business strategist who has years of experience under her belt and has rendered services in prestigious companies. At the IoBM she presented a talk to the management and staff on Leadership in the age of disruption.
She discussed key points that companies ignore and face limitations in their operations and mentioned ways to rectify these problems. She enlightened the attendees over how innovation can shift the organization’s focus, hence leading it on the path of progress and development. Kate is a Yale University graduate and has worked at the Harvard Business Review; and is currently the instructor at MIT’s Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship.
