The goal of asset management is to maximize asset performance and minimize operations & maintenance costs. To achieve these goals it is imperative for maintenance professionals to stay on top of the latest strategies, methodologies, and techniques. Since assets fail, how one manages the consequences of failure is vital. Not every asset presents the same failure risk, or is equally critical to plant operations. Therefore, it is important to know which assets are required to sustain system’s performance. Critical assets are those which have a high risk of failing (old, poor condition, etc.) and have major consequences, if they do fail, on health & safety, environment, and production. World class organizations must decide how critical assets in the Plant are and rank them accordingly. This one-day workshop provides practical information on how to conduct criticality and risk assessment through systematic and effective methodology.
The goal of this workshop is to provide organizations with a methodology to successfully form a framework to create profiles and conduct Equipment Criticality and Risk Assessment with the needed information.
By attending this workshop participants will learn from the body of knowledge contributed by an expert trainer from the field of maintenance. The participants will get practical hands-on information on important topics including:
This workshop is designed for asset management professionals and should be attended by:
