The Digicon Informatics Society of the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) scheduled “Experia-IV”, an Inter-Society Gaming Championship at the Student Activity Center, IoBM from November 5 to 7, 2018. Various computer gaming competitions were held with such games including COUNTER STRIKE, DOTA 2, TEKKEN 7, FIFA 19, BLUR, PUBG AND LUDO STAR. Experia-IV provided a competitive platform to all IoBM students who wanted to showcase their gaming skills on a larger scale. Digicon also brought the Multi-Player VR LIVE gaming experience at Experia-IV.
Mr. Talib Syed Karim, President IoBM, inaugurated EXPERIA-IV at the IoBM Student Activity Center. Present were Dr. Ejaz Ahmed, Rector, Dr. Tariq Rahim Soomro, HoD, Computer Science and MIS Department, Mr. Khalid Bin Muhammad, Assistant Professor, Computer Science and MIS Department and Faculty Advisor, Digicon Informatics Society and Mr. Riaz Akbar Contractor, Proctor, Manager Sports and Students Affairs. The event was well-attended by students with office bearers of the Digicon.
Along with Digicon, IoBM Societies participating in Experia-IV were Entertainment Plus Society (EPS), Marketing Society, Finance Society, IoBM Club for Entrepreneurs (ICE), Literary and Public Speaking Society (LPSS), CBM Society of Health Managers (CSHM), Dialogue Society, Egalitarians (Economics Society), Mathematics Society, Social Welfare and Trust (SWAT), Society of Eglence and Technologies (SET), Sports Society (Vanquishers), Strategic and Human Resource Society (SHRS), Sustainable Living Society (SLS).
