The College of Computer Science and Information Systems (CCSIS) at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Karachi Section for technical sponsorship of the 12th Conference on Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science and Statistics (MACS-12).This will enable MACS-12 to publish accepted research papers in IEEE-Xplore (USA). It is worth-mentioning that IEEE is one of the largest professional organisations in the world.
On behalf of Dr. Ejaz Ahmed, Rector IoBM, senior faculty members from CCSIS Engr. Muhammad Asghar Khan (Conference Convenor) and Engr. Khalid Bin Muhammad (Convenor IEEE, IoBM) attended the MOU signing ceremony. CCSIS faculty Dr. Tariq Rahim Soomro who is also Secretary IEEE-Karachi Section was also present. Acting Chair Dr. Muhammad Shahab Siddiqui (J.U.W.), Conference co-ordinator Prof. Bhavani Shankar Chaudry (MUET), Engr. Prakash Lohana (UIT) and others were also present in the ceremony. CCSIS-IoBM has been continuously organizing Conferences on Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science and Statistics (MACS) for the last 11 years.
