IoBM student becomes an Atlas Corps Fellow in the USA

Tahir Jahangir, a student of MSC (Organizational Psychology and HRM) at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM), has been selected for the prestigious Global Social Entrepreneurship Program at the Atlas Service Corps, Inc., which is a Fellowship Program to the United States for 2018-19.

 The Global Social Entrepreneurship Program is sponsored by US State Department. Over 10,000 people applied and over the course of 6 months of rigorous interviews and assessments, Tahir Jahangir was selected among the top 8 – 10 people. This is once-in-a-life time opportunity for students to participate in a management development program in the US.

Tahir Jahangir has over 15 years of work experience. He has worked at various organizations including InfiniLogic (Sr. Hr Executive), TradeKey (Team Lead – HR and OD); SBT Japan (Manager HR and OD); Naft Corporation (Head of HR and OD); PakOman Microfinance Bank Ltd (Head of HR, OD and Administration); HRSPlanet (Chief Consultant) and TradeOptimize (HoD Operations).

Atlas Corps recruits social change leaders from around the world for their international fellowship program. They seek applications from civil society professionals with 2-10 years of experience to service in 6-10 month professional placements in the US and Colombia. This prestigious fellowship includes a living stipend to cover basic expenses and health insurance.
