Mr. Talib Karim President IoBM, while speaking on the occasion of the Certificate Distribution of “1st IoBM Faculty and Staff Sports Competition 2018”, stressed upon the need for healthy sports activities with suitable time management in coordination with examination and academic departments. He added that IoBM attaches due importance to providing and upgrading of sports facilities including infrastructure and equipment and that a separate gymnasium for ladies has been approved and air-conditioning of the squash court is in the offing. He advised participants that winning and losing is part of the game and that participation and sportsmanship remain of paramount significance.
Earlier in his welcome speech, Mr. Riaz Akbar Contractor, Proctor, Manager Sports and Student Affairs disseminated the message of felicitations and best wishes for this event by Ms. Sabina Mohsin, Executive Director, AAF, IoBM. He said that this event was ice breaking in terms of faculty and management interaction through sports and it brought them together in an atmosphere of mutual cheers and healthy recreation. He applauded the role of IoBM Sports Society, especially Mr. Humayun Rashid, Senior Sports Officer in planning, organizing and coordinating this event.
